FERNLEY, Nev. – United Federal Credit Union (United) celebrated its continued growth in Nevada with a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new Fernley branch on June 24. The branch, located at 1035 Inglewood Dr Suite 100, is United’s tenth location in Nevada.

“We are excited to offer existing and new Members in the Fernley community a convenient place to engage with our team and learn more about United’s unique products and services,” said Meredith Williams, United’s Regional Vice President in Nevada. “United has proudly served Nevada since 2009, and this new location allows us to build on long-standing partnerships and expand our support for community events and programs.”

Karolina Ciesielska, who joined United in 2024, will lead the Fernley branch as Branch Manager. She brings a strong understanding of Member needs and a passion for community engagement.

“We’ve already built wonderful relationships with Members in Fernley and are committed to helping them reach their financial goals,” said Ciesielska. “Our team is proud to serve the Fernley community and looks forward to delivering exceptional service for years to come.”

As part of the celebration, United also presented a $5,000 community donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows during the Fernley ribbon-cutting ceremony, reinforcing its commitment to supporting youth programs in the Fernley area. Oscar Aguilar, Director of Lovelock & Fernley Area, accepted the check on behalf of the organization. The contribution is part of United’s ongoing commitment to supporting safe, enriching spaces where young people can learn, grow, and thrive.

Construction will begin in partnership with Metcalf Builders, with development planned through 2025 and 2026.

“Our team is beyond thrilled to break ground in Lemmon Valley,” added Williams. “This expansion reflects our commitment to meeting Members where they are and providing access to trusted financial services across Northern Nevada.”
